Ultra has no re-entry and no parking at Bayfront Park. Friday opens at 4pm and Saturday at noon, and both close at midnight, so you'll want a bed you can walk back to or one on the free Metromover. Sunday finishes at 10pm. The only tickets Ultra lists are three-day passes, and you have to be 18 to get in.

On 20 October we put Ultra weekend, 26 to 28 March 2027, into the booking screens of 21 hotels we cover in downtown Miami, for two adults in one room. We asked for the Friday alone and the Saturday alone, then longer stays where those failed. Four hotels turned down every stay we tried except Friday to Monday, and the closest one to the park wouldn't sell a single night. Five within about 15 minutes on foot sold either night by itself.

Every walk time below is a street route from OpenStreetMap's foot routing, run on 20 October to a point inside the park, because Ultra doesn't publish where its entrances are. The routes are for an ordinary day. Festival fencing can make them longer, and so can the Biscayne Boulevard closure: last year Miami police announced detours on Biscayne from 9pm on the Thursday until 7am on the Monday.

Friday to Monday or nothing

The InterContinental at 100 Chopin Plaza is about 8 minutes from the park, and IHG's screen would not sell it to us in pieces. A Friday on its own got "No rooms available for selected dates." A Saturday on its own was refused too, and so was Friday to Sunday. Friday to Monday went through, and so did a single Friday two weeks later, on 9 April, so the minimum belongs to Ultra weekend. Every night adds a $40 resort fee plus tax and service charge, and valet, the only parking, is $58 a night before the same two.

EAST Miami, about 23 minutes away on Brickell Plaza, gave the same answer in capitals: "YOUR CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT COMBINATION IS NOT AVAILABLE ON MARCH 26, 2027." It said the same about the 27th, then sold Friday to Monday. EAST charges a $54 destination fee plus tax on arrival and publishes no parking rate anywhere on its own site.

At the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay on North Bayshore Drive, about 32 minutes north of the park, we also tried Thursday to Sunday, three nights that cover the Friday and the Saturday. Hilton refused that too. Then it found 16 rooms for Friday to Monday, and 17 for the Friday of 9 April. Valet is $39.00 with no self-parking, and Hilton doesn't say whether that's nightly or before tax. There's no resort fee on its page. The free Metromover stops outside.

Hotel Indigo Miami Brickell on SW 11th Street, also about 32 minutes on foot, was the fourth. IHG states it charges no resort or amenity fee. It publishes no self-parking, and prices valet at $45 a night on one IHG page and $40 on another.

With a three-day ticket, that minimum may be the stay you'd book anyway. Friday to Sunday checks you out on Sunday morning, and the last day runs until 10pm. Friday to Monday leaves you a bed after it. We read these screens on one day, 20 October 2026, and any of these answers can change.

Hotels that pick your nights

YVE Hotel Miami at 146 Biscayne Boulevard is the closest hotel on our list, about 6 minutes from the park. Ask for the Friday alone and the screen says "THE DATE YOU HAVE SELECTED MAR 26, 2027 HAS A MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY." Its calendar marks the 26th and 27th "Restrictions may apply," and for the Saturday alone it wouldn't let us view rooms. Friday to Sunday sold. The amenities fee is $28.25 a night with tax included, and valet at $67.10 a night is the only parking it publishes. The 1926 building is slated for demolition, with permits filed in 2023 for a 104-story tower. No closing date had been announced as of 2 September 2026.

At YOTEL Miami on NE 2nd Street, about 8 minutes from the park, Hilton's screen found 1 room for the Friday alone and answered the Saturday alone with "Sorry, we don't have any rooms available for those dates." Friday to Sunday found 8 rooms. A Saturday two weeks later found 12. The mandatory charge is $39 a night plus 13% tax, $44.07 in all. There's no parking on site, and YOTEL sends drivers to Bayfront Parking at 255 NE 1st Street, from $35 plus tax with validation and no in-and-out. Confirm check-in before you plan Friday: the hotel's own listing data says 6pm, YOTEL's general FAQ says 3pm, and the festival opens at 4.

Marriott sold the Friday alone at the JW Marriott Marquis on Biscayne Boulevard Way, about 12 minutes away, and marked the Saturday alone Sold Out. Friday to Sunday sold, and so did a lone Saturday on 10 April. The destination fee is $35 a night. There's no self-parking, and Marriott lists two figures for valet that it never reconciles: $76.29 daily, and $47 to $62 overnight plus tax and city surcharges.

Saturday was the harder night to buy alone: eight hotels refused it, against six for Friday. That Saturday also falls inside Miami Music Week (22 to 28 March), and the Heat play the Celtics at Kaseya Center, 601 Biscayne Boulevard, at 8pm.

Element Miami Brickell on SW 8th Street, about 26 minutes on foot, sold the Friday by itself but not the Saturday, and Friday to Sunday was fine. It charges a $35 destination fee. Parking is $55 a day whether you park the car or valet does.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell-Downtown at 50 SW 12th Street, about 30 minutes away, was the only hotel that refused the Friday alone and sold the Saturday. It found 12 rooms for the Saturday and 12 for Friday to Sunday, and a plain Friday on 9 April found 13. Hilton lists no resort fee there. Self-parking at $39.00 a day is the only option, and the Metromover is close enough that plenty of guests skip the garage.

Either night on its own, 15 minutes or less

The Elser at 398 NE 5th Street, about 10 minutes from the park, sold the Friday and the Saturday as single nights. Every unit is a suite, from a studio up to three bedrooms with a full kitchen, which works for a group splitting one booking. Each is owned and furnished separately, though, and condition varies. Last year the hotel ran a guests-only rooftop pre-party with DJ sets during Ultra. The amenity fee is $59 a night before tax. Self-parking is $63 overnight and valet $84, both plus tax, so with valet you're $143 a night in before tax and before the room.

Eurostars Langford, about 11 minutes away, would sell either night too. It's in a restored 1925 bank building at 121 SE 1st Street, and its own pages list no resort fee, but the booking screen adds $16.95 a night plus tax anyway. Valet is $64.20 a night with tax included, and no self-parking is published.

Kimpton EPIC at 270 Biscayne Boulevard Way and Hotel Beaux Arts, on the 39th floor of the JW Marriott Marquis building at 255, are both about 12 minutes from the park, and both sold each night on its own. EPIC won't check in anyone under 21. Beaux Arts checks in 18-year-olds, the age Ultra lets in. EPIC's Guest Amenity Fee is $40 plus tax, with valet at $58 plus tax overnight. Beaux Arts adds a $35 destination fee, and its valet is $75.64 a day with tax and city surcharge included. You share the JW's entrance and elevators to get up there.

The walk from the Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Brickell-Port of Miami at 100 SE 4th Street is about 15 minutes, the longest in this group, and it had both nights. Breakfast is free. Its Hotel Service Fee is $16.95 a room per night, and valet is required with no published price; a guest in April 2026 was charged $49.95 a day.

Brickell and Bayshore Drive, by Metromover

Past about 15 minutes on foot, the Metromover does the work. It's free, with 21 stations between Brickell's Financial District and School Board in Omni, and Ultra says it stops right outside the park. On an ordinary day it runs 5:30am to 10pm. For Ultra last year, Miami-Dade ran Metrorail and Metromover until 2am after Friday and Saturday, and until midnight on Sunday. The county hadn't posted a 2027 plan when we checked on 20 October.

W Miami at 485 Brickell Avenue is the nearest of these, about 17 minutes on foot, and sold either night with a $20 destination fee in the rate. Its valet belongs to Icon Brickell, the complex it sits in, and charges by the hour with no in-and-out and no published price. The AC Hotel Miami Brickell shares 115 SW 8th Street with the Element, about 26 minutes away, and sold the Saturday the Element wouldn't. Its terms are the same: $35 a night, and $55 a day to park.

Three more, all about 31 or 32 minutes from the park, sold both nights alone. Dua Miami on South Miami Avenue showed us the Saturday only as a Pool Cabana Package. It has no resort fee, and valet is $61 a night. Aloft Miami - Brickell is a short walk from Metromover and Metrorail stops. Marriott's screen showed no fee line for it, though Marriott's group-sales page suggests individual bookings carry one, so ask. Valet is $40 a day. At the Four Seasons Hotel Miami on Brickell Avenue a $60 resort fee plus tax goes on every night, and you can valet for $65 a day or use the garage next door for $60.

North of the park, Hilton Miami Downtown at 1601 Biscayne Boulevard is about 28 minutes on foot. Hilton found 17 rooms for the Friday alone and 16 for the Saturday. Its screen showed no mandatory charge, though guests report a daily fee of about $30 to $52 added at the property, so ask for it itemized. Valet is $45. The Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay at 1633 North Bayshore Drive, next door to the DoubleTree, is about 30 minutes away. Both nights sold, with $35 a night added. Self-parking is $45 a day and valet $50.

Seven more of these hotels share EPIC's rule of 21 to check in: the W, the AC, the Element, the Hampton, the Comfort Inn, the DoubleTree and Indigo. Beaux Arts is the exception at 18. The other twelve don't publish an age we could find, so if you're under 21, ask the hotel before you book.
