A condo hotel in the middle of a renovation, and the recent reviews split along exactly that line. Hilton's own description calls it a waterfront condo hotel, and it rents residences of one to four bedrooms with kitchens and washer dryers, so condition swings unit to unit: one guest describes a large, modern bayview room with a balcony, the next describes broken and dirty furniture. The views are what praise keeps returning to, along with PortMiami six tenths of a mile away, which is why so many stays here are the night before a sailing. The construction is the repeated complaint. Reviews running into April 2026 describe a temporary front desk, thin signage, a torn-up pool area, and a driveway hard enough to find that more than one guest ended up coming in past the Marriott next door. Housekeeping misses and tired furnishings come up nearly as often, and the recent run of reviews tilts negative overall. On the money, Hilton publishes no resort fee here, but parking is valet at $39.00 with no self-park option at all, so four nights adds $156 before tax, and standard in-room and lobby wifi is $9.95 on top. Book it for a bay-view balcony the night before a cruise. Wait on it if you want the finished hotel.

The free Metromover stops outside, which is the practical answer to valet-only parking. City center is half a mile, PortMiami six tenths, and Bayside Marketplace and the Miami Children's Museum about a mile each. There is dining on site, Italian, seafood and steak by Hilton's listing, plus shops on the lower level that guests mention, and that matters more than usual while the construction makes the building awkward to move around. No beach within walking distance.

Is it worth booking last minute?
Yes for a pre-cruise night with a balcony over the bay, less so for anything that depends on the hotel being polished. The views and the port run are what guests consistently praise, while housekeeping, worn furnishings and the ongoing construction are the recurring complaints. Add $39.00 a night for valet, since leaving the car elsewhere is not an option here.
