The bay views are the reason to book, and the housekeeping is the reason to look around before you unpack. Reviewers keep landing on the same highlights: bay, marina and skyline views from the balconies and the rooftop pool deck, plus front-line staff they name individually, the pool bartender or a particular server. They also keep flagging dust in corners, items the previous guest left behind, and furnishings that read as dated for a four-star price point. That split holds up consistently: guests rate it well overall, but the housekeeping complaints recur often enough to note. The surprise is geography. "Biscayne Bay" in the name and all that waterfront framing suggest beach, but this is a downtown business and convention hotel in Edgewater, roughly 4 to 5 miles from South Beach. Walkable dinner means a Publix, a few cafes, or the hotel's own Gold Coast Kitchen + Cocktails. Budget a rideshare for a proper night out or a beach day. On the math: Marriott publishes no resort or destination fee anywhere on this property's page.
