This is the cruise-port staging hotel that reads cheap next to Brickell until you total what gets added at the property. Guests praise the same things over and over: floor-to-ceiling bay and skyline views, the rooftop pool, and the position a few blocks from the Port of Miami, about 15 minutes from MIA, with a Publix walkable for pre-cruise supply runs. Front desk and valet staff get called out by role in review after review, which usually means the service is genuinely good. The complaints are just as consistent. Reviewers report a mandatory daily fee of roughly $30 to $52 that they say was never clear at booking, and Hilton's own page publishes no resort fee at all, so get it itemized before you hand over a card. Self-parking isn't available. Valet is published at $45, and guests report paying $28 to $50. Stacked, people describe $60 to $90 a night on top of the room. Noise is the other running theme: hallway arguments and late nights from a cruise and bachelor-party crowd. Rooms are uneven despite the $35M 2018 renovation, and one detailed review flagged a pool deck with broken chairs. Book it for a ship or an Arsht Center night if you'll pay for valet, and ask for a high or corner floor. The bay view in the photos doesn't exist on lower floors, where neighboring towers block it.
