Hotel Beaux Arts is 44 rooms tucked inside the JW Marriott Marquis tower on Biscayne Boulevard Way, and nearly everything guests say about it follows from that arrangement. The praise repeats around scale and quiet: rooms much larger than a standard Miami room, floor-to-ceiling glass over the bay and the Brickell skyline, and a staff small enough to know your name by the second morning. The complaint repeats around the other side of the same fact. You share the entrance, the elevators and the pool, spa and gym with a 313-room convention hotel, so the boutique feeling starts at your door rather than at the curb. Anyone booking this as a self-contained hideaway lands wrong. Then the money. Marriott publishes no resort fee, no destination fee and no amenity fee for this property anywhere on its pages or in its structured data. Downtown that is worth something, since the Four Seasons charges $60 a night and The Elser $59, so three nights here avoids roughly $180. Valet takes most of it back. There is no self-parking, and Marriott's own answer is $75.64 a day with tax and city surcharge included, built on a published base of $47 to $62. Three nights of that runs about $227. It suits couples and business travelers who want a big high-floor room downtown and will ride the free Metromover. If you are driving, price it against a hotel with cheaper parking first.

Biscayne Boulevard Way, on the hinge where Brickell's financial district meets downtown and the mouth of the Miami River. Bayside Marketplace, Bayfront Park and Brickell City Centre are walkable, and the free Metromover runs 5:30am to 10pm with stations all through this pocket, so a car is genuinely optional here in a way it is not on the beach. There is no walkable sand: South Beach is about 5 miles away across a causeway, and no rail crosses the bay.

Marriott's free-text parking note lists it alongside the $47 to $62 overnight rate without explaining it, and the same page states the hotel is valet only, which sits oddly with a ramp rate existing at all. It may be an oversized-vehicle tier. Do not budget for it as a normal nightly rate, and do not assume it is a cheaper self-park option either.

How is this different from staying at the JW Marriott Marquis downstairs?

You get a much larger room and a 44-room operation instead of a 313-room one, and you share everything else. The entrance, the elevators, the pool, the spa and the gym are the big hotel's, which is why guests who expected a private property come away flat. The upside is a high-floor room with bay and skyline glass and staff who can actually keep track of you.

What time is check-in and check-out, and how old do you have to be?

Check-in is 4:00 pm, check-out is 11:00 am, and the minimum age to check in is 18. That is a five-hour gap if you land in the morning off a red-eye, so plan where your bags go. The 18 rule is worth knowing if you are booking for someone in their late teens travelling alone.

Can I bring my dog?

No. The policy is service animals only, stated twice on Marriott's pages, and no pet program or pet fee is published. Service animals under the ADA are not pets and are permitted. If you are travelling with a dog, this one is out and you will need to look elsewhere downtown.
