You board from inside Bayside Marketplace, so the trip starts with a walk through a waterfront shopping mall to reach the dock. What follows is 90 minutes on a 74-foot double decker that holds up to 140 people, heading out into Biscayne Bay for the downtown skyline, the working ships of PortMiami, Fisher Island and the Miami Beach shoreline that Island Queen has trademarked as Millionaire's Row. Narration is bilingual, English and Spanish, and the company says other languages are not guaranteed and cost extra. Most of the catches happen on land. You have to swap the emailed voucher for a physical boarding pass at a Bayside ticket booth at least 45 minutes before departure or you get marked a no show, boarding starts 15 minutes out, and every parking option at Bayside is paid, so a 90-minute cruise takes a real chunk of an afternoon. Tickets are tied to the date and time you picked and are non-refundable, though Island Queen says unused ones stay valid instead of expiring. There is also some selling aboard: the operator's own page notes that representatives may hand out vacation giveaway entry forms during the cruise. And nobody gets off the boat. The houses are pointed out from open water, and whatever you hear about who lives in them is not something you can check from the rail.

How long does the Millionaire's Row cruise take, start to finish?
The cruise itself is 90 minutes. Island Queen requires you to exchange your voucher for a boarding pass at a Bayside Marketplace ticket booth at least 45 minutes before departure, and boarding begins 15 minutes before the departure time. Budget roughly two and a half hours from arriving at Bayside to walking back off the boat.
Where do you park for the Bayside Marketplace boat tours?
Island Queen states that parking is not included and that all parking there is paid. There is a covered garage reached by entering at NE 3rd Street and staying to your left, plus street spaces in front of the mall and additional parking toward the back. Bayside also warns that rates can vary during events at the Kaseya Center next door.
What is included in the ticket?
You get the 90-minute bilingual narrated cruise and a seat on one of the three double-deckers, each with an air-conditioned lower salon behind picture windows, an open upper deck under an awning, and restrooms on the first deck. Food and drink are not included: there is a cash bar plus light snacks for sale (popcorn, candy, chocolate, Frito-Lay products). Coolers and outside food and drink are not allowed aboard.
Does the cruise still run if it rains?
Yes. Island Queen says its cruises go out rain or shine and that cancelling for extreme weather is rare. The upper-deck awning is described as shelter from direct sunlight and light seasonal showers, and the lower salon is enclosed and air conditioned. Because tickets are non-refundable, a wet forecast is not grounds for money back.
Do you need a car to get to the cruise?
No. Bayside Marketplace sits on Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami, and Miami-Dade's free Metromover stops at College/Bayside about a block away. Island Queen does not run hotel pickups.
Is the Biscayne Bay cruise worth doing?
If you want the Miami skyline and the Beach waterfront from the water plus a seat for an hour and a half, it delivers that reliably. If you want to verify who owns which mansion or to actually set foot anywhere, this is the wrong tour: it is narrated sightseeing from open water with no stops. First-time visitors and families get the most out of it.
