Dua is a nightlife property wearing an Autograph Collection badge. It opened in 2016 as SLS Brickell, an sbe party brand, and rebranded in mid-2024 under new ownership with a new restaurant and lounge. The bones never changed, and that's what keeps coming up. Guests love the rooms: bold, mirrored, design-forward, with private balconies that Travel+Leisure and The Telegraph both singled out. They love the staff too, often inside otherwise sour feedback. What they don't love is sleeping. The ground-floor restaurant and lounge, the rooftop pool bar and the street all carry upstairs, management is visibly responding to noise complaints, and guests describe sleeping badly even while praising the room in the same breath. The second recurring gripe is upkeep: guests describe the property as dated and under-maintained for what it charges, and value for money is repeatedly singled out as the weak point against an otherwise strong location. Then the fee math. There's no resort fee here, which in Miami is worth real money. Parking is the offset: valet only at $60 a night with no self-park option on the property, so three nights in a car adds $180 that the headline rate never shows you. Right for design-minded couples and friend groups who want to be in the middle of Brickell. Wrong for light sleepers.
