Hotel Phoenix is 172 meters from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a 2-minute walk to the east side. Reverb by Hard Rock Atlanta Downtown is 182 meters, also 2 minutes.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park is 2 minutes, 168 meters, from Centennial Olympic Park and 13 minutes, 962 meters, from the stadium. Reverb and Hotel Phoenix are the other way round: 10 and 11 minutes from the park, 2 from the stadium (our Centennial Park page times every walk to the park).
We measured 24 downtown hotels. Each walk is a foot route on a normal day, to the nearer of two points on the stadium's perimeter (measured 29 October 2026) and the nearer of three on State Farm Arena's (6 November 2026). OpenStreetMap has no gate locations for the stadium, so each walk ends at the building's edge. The routes don't allow for event-day closures.
Parking figures are what each hotel or its brand publishes, and none of them says whether tax is added. We read fees on each hotel's booking screen on 29 October, and only The Candler Hotel Atlanta, Curio Collection by Hilton added a charge of its own. Every room in Georgia also carries the state's $5 a night fee. This page doesn't check availability for any night.
Under 10 minutes: Phoenix and Reverb at 2, Signia at 7
Hotel Phoenix and Reverb are also 3 minutes from State Farm Arena's south side, 205 and 195 meters. No other hotel is within 3 minutes of both buildings.
Hotel Phoenix opened on 1 December 2025 with 292 rooms. Valet is $25 up to 2 hours, $45 for 2 to 6, $65 for 6+ and $75 oversized. Its FAQ, read 6 November 2026, says rates may vary during major downtown Atlanta events.
Reverb has RT60, a rooftop bar with live music that takes walk-ins only. The hotel gives a garage entrance at 38 Mangum St SW and no parking rate, so call before you drive in.
Signia by Hilton Atlanta has 976 rooms and is connected to the Georgia World Congress Center. It's 7 minutes, 521 meters, to the stadium and 6 minutes, 487 meters, to the arena's north side. Valet is $65 with in-and-out, and the hotel says pricing varies on event days.
10 to 15 minutes, with two hotels that are 4 minutes from the arena
The Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park and the Glenn Hotel, Autograph Collection sit closer to State Farm Arena than to the stadium. Both are 4 minutes from the arena's east side, the Omni at 263 meters and the Glenn at 333. The stadium is 10 minutes from either, 715 and 785 meters.
The Omni is valet only: $75 overnight, or in the daytime $35 up to 3 hours, $45 for 3 to 6 and $75 for 6+. The Glenn's valet is $60 a day, and it's included with the All Access and Romance in Atlanta packages (blackout dates may apply).
From the Embassy Suites it's 8 minutes, 569 meters, to the arena. Valet is $60 a night, and EV charging is free.
The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in the Peachtree Center area, is 15 minutes, 1,151 meters, from the stadium and 9 from the arena. Valet is $60, and the hotel doesn't say whether that's per night or per day.
16 to 20 minutes: eleven hotels, four with self-parking
From Moxy Atlanta Downtown we measured to the stadium's north side, on Andrew Young International Blvd: 16 minutes, 1,234 meters. Valet is $55 a day.
Three hotels 17 minutes out let you park yourself. Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown charges $45 a day in a covered garage, with in-and-out for overnight guests. Valet is $60. Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Downtown charges $35 a day and has no valet. At The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta, self-parking and valet cost the same, $65 a day.
Hyatt Place Atlanta Centennial Park is a 17-minute walk too, but parking there is valet only, $60 a day, in a covered garage with 24/7 security.
Residence Inn Atlanta Downtown and Courtyard Atlanta Downtown are 18 minutes from the stadium, and each is 2 minutes from Peachtree Center station (158 and 113 meters). The Residence Inn is valet only, $50 a day. The Courtyard lists valet at $55 a day.
At The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, 19 minutes from the stadium, the garage clears only 6 ft 5 in, and valet is the only option, $73 a day. Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown is a 19-minute walk as well, and its valet is $60 per vehicle per night.
The Candler's charge is 2.00% per stay, which the banner on its booking screen calls a Historical Preservation Fee. It's already in the price shown, and taxes come on top. The hotel is 152 meters from Peachtree Center station and 19 minutes on foot from the stadium. Valet is $55, with no word on whether that's nightly or daily.
Self-parking at Aloft Atlanta Downtown is $6 an hour or $32 a day, the lowest daily rate in this guide. The stadium is a 20-minute walk.
State Farm Arena is 11 minutes from the Moxy, Hilton Garden Inn, the Hampton and the Westin, 12 from the Hyatt Place, Residence Inn and Courtyard, and 13 from the Ritz-Carlton, the Indigo, the Candler and Aloft.
21 to 25 minutes, where valet runs $55 to $67
Valet is $55 a day at both SpringHill Suites Atlanta Downtown and the Ellis Hotel Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, 21-minute walks from the stadium (16 and 15 minutes from the arena).
The Hyatt Regency Atlanta, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown are all 23 minutes from the stadium and 17 from the arena. The Hyatt Regency's valet is $60 overnight, or $65 for oversized vehicles, with in-and-out privileges, and it says there's no official self-parking. Valet is $67 a day at the Marquis and $65 at the JW.
Hilton Atlanta is 25 minutes, 1,903 meters, from the stadium and 19 from the arena. Self-parking is $45 in a covered third-party garage with a 6 ft height limit. Spaces are limited and not guaranteed, and the garage takes cards only. Valet is $60 a night, and it's required over 6 ft.
Without a car: the stadium's stations are on the Blue and Green lines only
The stadium's page names two MARTA stations, SEC District and Vine City, and MARTA's own feed, read 6 November 2026, puts both on the Blue and Green lines only. The stadium calls SEC District (formerly GWCC/CNN Center) its preferred stop. Vine City is at 502 Rhodes St NW. The stadium's page says Red and Gold line riders change at Five Points, and puts the fare at $2.50 each way.
All 12 Peachtree Center hotels are within a 10-minute walk of Peachtree Center station, from 1 minute (81 meters) at the Ritz-Carlton to 10 (724 meters) at Hilton Atlanta. That station isn't on the Blue or Green line, so there's no direct train from it to either stadium station.
The stadium's page also lists a Fetii shuttle from Atlantic Station. It runs from two hours before kickoff until kickoff, and the last one leaves the stadium 90 minutes after the game. The ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and the shuttle isn't wheelchair accessible.
Rideshare has two zones, Zone 1 at GWCC Bus Lane C on Northside Dr and Zone 2 at South Downtown. The stadium puts each about a 10-minute walk from the building.
Parking: self-parking starts 17 minutes out
Five hotels list self-parking: Aloft, the Hampton, Hilton Garden Inn, the Westin and Hilton Atlanta. Of the other 19, 18 list valet and no self-parking rate, and Reverb gives no price.
Among flat valet rates, the Residence Inn's $50 a day is the lowest and the Omni's $75 overnight the highest. Hotel Phoenix and Signia both say event days can change the rate, so ask for yours before you drive in.
Events at the stadium, as listed on 6 November 2026
On 6 November the stadium's events page listed Usher and Chris Brown's R&B Tour on 6, 8, 10 and 11 November at 7:30 p.m. The Falcons' schedule has the Chiefs on Sunday 15 November, the Lions on Sunday 6 December and the Saints on Sunday 3 January 2027, all at 1 p.m. The Buccaneers game in Week 16 has no date yet. The Falcons' 8 November game against Cincinnati is in Madrid. The NFL can move Falcons games, so check the team's schedule close to the date.
The stadium lists the SEC Championship on 5 December and the Celebration Bowl on 12 December, both with times TBA. SEC Championship hotels and Celebration Bowl hotels cover those weekends. The Peach Bowl is Friday 1 January 2027, a College Football Playoff quarterfinal with kickoff TBA, per the bowl's own post of 3 February 2026.
Harry Styles is listed for 21 and 22 May 2027 and Zach Bryan for 29 May. Kenny Chesney is on 31 July. The stadium lists all three as TBD. Super Bowl LXII is listed for 13 February 2028.
