Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

At Hyatt Place Atlanta Centennial Park the car goes to a valet and nowhere else: there is no self-parking, and the covered, secured garage with 24/7 security monitoring costs $60 a day. Two nights is $120 against $90 in the garage at the Hilton Garden Inn, which is also 5 minutes from the park, and three nights is $180. The hotel is at 300 Luckie St NW, a 395-meter walk from the park. Hyatt's screen for November 17, 2026 listed six rooms at average nightly rates with no destination fee paragraph. Dogs up to 50 pounds are allowed, or two that weigh 75 pounds together, at $100 a stay for 1 to 6 nights, and longer stays cost more. Check-in is at 3 PM, when the card is held for the room and tax plus $75 for incidentals. Check-out is at noon. Breakfast service can run slow or short-staffed, and listings disagree on whether breakfast is free at all.
