Guests at the Ellis Hotel mention noise more than anything else, in an older building on Peachtree Street that Marriott sells as a Tribute Portfolio hotel. Street sound, hallway doors, music from a nearby club and one loud air-conditioning unit all come up, so ask for a room away from Peachtree Street. The staff are friendly and the beds comfortable. Some rooms have good views. The rate Marriott shows has no destination fee in it. Valet is the only parking, at $55 a day per Marriott's hotel page, or $110 for two nights, and some reviews fault how it's handled. It's 3 minutes on foot to Peachtree Center station, close enough to leave the car at home. The pet limit is one per room, up to 35 pounds, with a $100 non-refundable fee per stay. Cleanliness and maintenance draw complaints in some accounts. The on-site restaurant gets criticized, and breakfast isn't free.
