Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
This was the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center until the 2024 rename, and it still stands in the old CNN Center complex at 190 Marietta St NW, 4 minutes on foot from Centennial Olympic Park. The renovated North Tower has 600 rooms. Omni's booking screen for November 17, 2026 listed 13 room types and no destination charge. Its prices were nightly averages before taxes and fees, so Atlanta's 8% hotel tax and 8.9% sales tax come on top, along with Georgia's $5 a night. Parking is valet only: Omni's policies page puts it at $75 overnight and says nothing about tax. Two nights with a car adds $150 before any tax. Valet by the day starts at $35 for up to 3 hours and reaches $75 past 6. You have to be 21 to check in. A pet up to 25 pounds costs a non-refundable $150 a stay, charged per room.
