Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Hotel Phoenix opened on December 1, 2025, with 292 rooms, among them 15 suites and a penthouse, and it sells through Preferred Hotels and Resorts' L.V.X collection. Its developer puts it across from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the routed walk from 70 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW to Centennial Olympic Park is 11 minutes. The rooms are less than a year old. Noise is the most common complaint in the review summaries we could reach: trains and MARTA at night, and crowds on event days. Check-in and the restaurant can run slow, and some guests felt the price ran high for what they got. No destination or amenity fee was on the booking screen for November 17, 2026. The lines on top of the rate were two taxes, state sales and lodging, and the Georgia hotel-motel fee, which is the state's $5 a night. No page we could read states a parking rate.
