The W Atlanta Downtown reopened in May 2026 as the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown, with 237 rooms and suites at 45 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NW. It has a rooftop pool and spa, and a Mindful Floor of 24 wellness rooms. It is 12 minutes on foot to Centennial Olympic Park, the second longest walk of the twelve. On a big event day, that is a long way in a crowd. Marriott's booking screen for November 17, 2026 added no destination fee to the Deluxe King or the Deluxe Queen. Only the Omni posts a higher valet rate than the JW's $65 a day, which Signia matches, and the hotel's page lists no other parking. Up to 2 pets are allowed per room, 40 pounds each, and the page lists no pet fee. The reopening is recent, and stays since then have turned up gaps such as room phones that didn't work and no room service.
