A DoubleTree until its renovation and conversion, The American Hotel is now in Hilton's Tapestry Collection, and the work was finished by the time HEI Hotels & Resorts added it to its portfolio in June 2024. It has 315 rooms and an outdoor pool. The bar is Social62. Valet is the only parking, listed at $60 on Hilton's hotel page with no unit given. Hilton's booking screen for November 17, 2026 showed no mandatory charge, and the 16.9% room tax and Georgia's $5 a night come on top of the price it shows. So does the $60 for valet. Parking is underground, and reviews say the entrance is small and awkward to find from the street corner, which makes a first arrival by car the hardest part of the stay. Peachtree Center station is 307 meters off, about 4 minutes on foot. Pets up to 25 pounds come with a $150 non-refundable fee. Rooms are usually described as clean and spacious, though some reports say rooms and bedding aren't refreshed regularly. Some rooms have weak shower pressure, and you pay for coffee.
