Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

The Hyatt Regency's atrium is a Portman design, and the hotel connects to the Peachtree Center complex, with a seasonal outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center. Staff are friendly and rooms are spacious, many with city views. Guests call the corridors dated, and cleanliness and service vary by account. Some guests also raise street conditions near the hotel at night. Hyatt's booking screen for November 17, 2026 showed no destination fee. There is no official self-parking, only designated lots off the property with no in-and-out privileges. Valet in the underground garage is $60 overnight, or $65 for an oversized vehicle, with in-and-out privileges, unlike the lots. Two nights in valet is $120. The valet line is slow both ways, and once the garage was reported full. The parking and amenity prices draw complaints too. The MARTA station is a 7-minute walk, 523 meters. The hotel allows no pets except service animals.
