Westshore fills on business nights and on stadium nights, and those two rarely land on the same date. Every hotel page here states the parking charge and the resort-fee position before you tap through to a live rate.

Two crowds book this district and they mostly miss each other. The office side fills Tuesday through Thursday across a district the Westshore Alliance puts at over 100,000 workers, and it empties by Friday afternoon as consultants and airline crews fly home. Raymond James Stadium, about two miles east of the North Westshore hotel cluster, supplies the rest: six Buccaneers home Sundays from September 27 to December 20, plus four USF dates in October and November and two bowl games in late December. The date to plan around is Monday, November 30, when Carolina visits for an 8:15 p.m. kickoff and fills rooms on the night this district normally gives away. Take the stadium calendar away and Sunday is the softest night here.
January through April is the expensive stretch, and the airport drives it as much as the weather. Tampa International's spring break surge runs about 40 days, early March to mid-April. January adds the two Gasparilla dates, the children's parade on January 23 and the pirate fest on January 30, 2027. Both run downtown along the Bayshore route rather than in Westshore, and this district picks up the spillover once downtown sells out, on a night you would not think to check. Summer is the genuine off-season, with corporate travel thin and the heat hard work from June on. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and peaks around September 10, so a cheap September night carries the disruption risk Helene and Milton made concrete in 2024.
Self-parking starts at $15 a night in the office core, at the Holiday Inn on North Westshore, and reaches $25 at the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore. Out on Rocky Point, The Current and The Westin Tampa Bay are $27, with valet at $35. Sailport Waterfront Suites parks you free and is the only property here publishing a resort fee, $18 plus tax a night. Stadium parking is separate money and cashless in the official lots, at prices that change per event. HART Route 30 runs from the airport to International Plaza for $2 a ride, and for the stadium, Route 45 runs from the Westshore Plaza transfer center at the same fare. Stadium routes go on detour during some events. Free hotel shuttles cover the airport run instead, 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Hilton.
Tuesday through Thursday, on office traffic alone. Westshore is Florida's largest office market, and midweek corporate and airline-crew demand sets the floor. Friday and Saturday go softer unless something is on at Raymond James Stadium, and Sunday is usually the quietest night of the seven.
Yes, and so do USF games and stadium concerts. Raymond James Stadium is about two miles from the North Westshore hotel cluster, so event nights sell rooms that would otherwise sit empty. The 2026 home Sundays are September 27, October 4, October 18, November 1, December 6 and December 20. Add the Monday night game against Carolina on November 30 and the finale against the Rams on Saturday, January 3, 2027.
Almost none of them do. Sailport Waterfront Suites is the exception at $18 plus tax a night, collected at check-in. Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay guests report a daily destination fee that the hotel's own pages would not confirm, so ask at booking. The other ten Westshore properties we have researched publish no resort fee.
Between $15 and $27 a night for self-parking, depending on where you land. The office-core hotels sit at the low end and the Rocky Point waterfront properties at the high end, and valet is $35 at the few hotels that offer it. Sailport is the outlier with free self-parking, two spaces per reservation, first come first served.
Yes. HART Route 30 links the airport to International Plaza by way of the Westshore Transfer Center, seven days a week, at $2 a ride, with the day capped at $4 if you pay with the Flamingo app or a contactless card. Several hotels also run a free TPA shuttle, including the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore, The Westshore Grand, the Renaissance and Sailport. A Yellow Cab from the airport starts at $3.50 for the first fifth of a mile plus $2.85 a mile, with a $22 minimum out of TPA.
Only in pockets. The Westshore Grand is roughly seven minutes on foot from International Plaza and its Bay Street restaurants. Hotel Alba is about half a mile from Westshore Plaza, and the Renaissance sits on the mall property itself. On Rocky Point, the causeway restaurants and the 9.5-mile Courtney Campbell Trail are walkable from the waterfront hotels. The airport and the stadium are not walkable from anywhere in the district, and the arterials make cross-district walking impractical.
