Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Hotel Alba is the former Crowne Plaza Tampa Westshore, reworked as a Hilton Tapestry hotel with 222 rooms and a pool deck that has its own bar and cabanas. Locals book it for weekends instead of driving to the beach. Guests describe the lobby and rooms as recently redone, and the restaurant and breakfast get favorable mentions. When staff come up, it is usually the shuttle drivers and bartenders as much as the front desk. The recurring complaint is rooms serviced late in the day or skipped entirely, reported by a steady minority of guests along with floors that needed a deeper clean, so on a longer stay expect to call down at least once. The on-demand shuttle covers about a 3-mile radius that includes Tampa International, and that is why travelers flying out choose this over a plain airport box. Downtown and the beaches are a drive. No resort or destination fee is published, and none appeared on Hilton's booking screen when we checked a one-night stay in September 2026. Parking is paid self-park only, charged by the night, but the hotel's own site and Hilton's page quote different rates, so confirm the figure at the desk before you pull in.

Check tonight's price →Hotel Alba Tampa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton FAQ
Does Hotel Alba Tampa charge a resort fee?
No resort fee is published. Neither the hotel's own FAQ nor Hilton's hotel page lists a resort, destination or amenity fee, and a one-night booking check on Hilton's site in September 2026 showed no mandatory charge.
How much is parking at Hotel Alba Tampa?
It's paid self-parking, charged per night, and the two official sources don't agree on the rate. The hotel's FAQ and Hilton's page list different nightly figures, so ask at check-in. There is no valet. The hotel's site also sells a Park & Stay package that includes parking each night.
Does Hotel Alba have an airport shuttle?
Yes. The hotel runs an on-demand shuttle within a 3-mile radius that includes Tampa International, based on availability, so call the front desk when you land.
What time is check-in at Hotel Alba Tampa?
4 pm, and check-out is 11 am. Both the hotel's site and Hilton's page give the same times.
Can you walk to the beach or downtown Tampa from Hotel Alba?
No. The hotel sits in the Westshore business district, so downtown and the Riverwalk are a drive, and the beaches are farther still. Westshore Plaza is the closest thing on foot, about half a mile away.
Is Hotel Alba Tampa pet friendly?
Yes, for a one-time non-refundable fee. The hotel's site and Hilton's page give different weight limits, so call ahead with a large dog.
