This is an all-suite Hilton a few minutes from Tampa International, and what guests talk about most is what's included: a cooked-to-order breakfast with an omelette station, and a free evening reception with drinks and snacks that families say their kids enjoy. Those two perks take real money off a stay. The suites give you room to spread out beyond a standard hotel room, which families notice. It works best if you fly in. Guests lean on the airport shuttle, and drivers also run them to nearby spots, so you can skip a rental car for a short stay. Business travelers with meetings at the Westshore offices get the same short hop, and the location makes more sense for an early flight than for a downtown weekend. An air conditioner that quit and a bathroom fixture needing repair turn up in recent stays, and one guest landed in a room in visible disrepair. The reports are occasional, but don't count on every room looking new. If you drive in, you give back part of the breakfast savings, and guests who came by car say so. Self-parking in the covered, secured garage is $22 a day with in-and-out privileges, and there is no valet. The hotel doesn't publish a resort fee.
