Count one night of the hotel fee and the cheapest parking each hotel lists, and a night with a car in Buckhead runs $35 to $84 before tax. Nobu is the $35, because its fee covers self-parking, and the InterContinental's $35 fee and $49 self-parking make the $84.

Parking at all twelve runs at or above Discover Atlanta's Buckhead ranges, and five of them carry a hotel fee

Discover Atlanta's hotel-rates page is undated and gives no Buckhead occupancy by day. It puts Buckhead rates higher on weekdays, on business demand, and says weekends may dip slightly unless a major event is on. Sunday is the night it names as good value.

The same page puts the cheapest stretch at December through February, outside holidays and major events, with New Year's Eve still raising prices. The one date in this area we can pin down is the AJC Peachtree Road Race on Sunday, July 4, 2027, a 10K that starts at Lenox Square and ends in Piedmont Park. The organiser said the 2026 race would bring more than 55,000 runners and walkers, and the course means early-morning road closures along Peachtree. The big stadium dates are downtown: the SEC Championship on Saturday, December 5, 2026 and a Peach Bowl playoff quarterfinal on Friday, January 1, 2027. We found no Buckhead split for either. MARTA's Gold Line runs from the airport to Lenox without a change for $2.50, and Buckhead station is on the Red Line.

A Buckhead room carries 8% hotel tax plus 8.9% sales tax, 16.9% in all, and the state's flat $5 a night hotel-motel fee. Screens list the $5 as the GA State Hotel Motel Fee or the Georgia Hotel Fee. It is a state charge, so it is not among the hotel fees counted here. Five of the twelve screens carried a hotel fee. The Hyatt Centric's and the JW Marriott's are $25 and the Grand Hyatt's $30, while the InterContinental and Nobu charge $35. The JW's $25 sits inside the rate Marriott lists. The other seven showed none. Valet runs $45 to $67 a night and self-parking, where offered, $35 to $55, with Nobu's $35 applying only to rates without its destination fee. Discover Atlanta's usual Buckhead ranges are $30 to $45 for valet and $15 to $30 for self-parking, so every hotel here sits at or above them.

Buckhead deal questions

When are Buckhead hotels cheapest?

December through February, outside holidays and major events, and Discover Atlanta names Sunday night as good value. That comes from Discover Atlanta's hotel-rates page, which is undated. It says Buckhead rates run higher on weekdays on business demand and may dip slightly on weekends unless a major event is on. New Year's Eve still raises winter prices, and the SEC Championship on December 5 and the Peach Bowl on January 1 fall inside that window, though both are downtown. We found no Buckhead occupancy by day of the week.

Which Buckhead hotels charge a hotel fee?

Five of the twelve: the Hyatt Centric ($25 daily destination fee), the JW Marriott ($25 Destination Fee, already inside the rate Marriott lists), the Grand Hyatt ($30 daily destination fee), the InterContinental ($35 Daily Amenity Fee, $40.92 a night with its tax) and Nobu Hotel Atlanta ($35 Destination Fee, $38.11 with sales tax). We read all twelve booking screens on October 29, 2026, the Whitley's for December 1 and the others for November 17. Hotel Colee, the Westin, the Wyndham, the Waldorf Astoria, the Hilton Garden Inn, the Courtyard and the Whitley carried no hotel fee.

How much does parking cost at Buckhead hotels?

$45 to $67 a night for valet and $35 to $55 to self-park, where it's offered, all at or above Discover Atlanta's usual Buckhead ranges of $30 to $45 and $15 to $30. The lowest standalone charge is Nobu's $35 self-parking, which applies only to rates without its destination fee; on rates with the fee, self-parking is included. The highest is $67 for valet at the Waldorf Astoria. The Waldorf Astoria and the Hilton Garden Inn are valet only, and Hotel Colee lists only valet.

What taxes apply to a Buckhead hotel room?

8% hotel tax and 8.9% sales tax, 16.9% together, plus the state's $5 a night hotel-motel fee. Those are the City of Atlanta rates, as the Wyndham and Nobu screens itemize them. Screens label the $5 as the GA State Hotel Motel Fee or the Georgia Hotel Fee. It is a state charge, and it stops only for a stay of 31 or more consecutive days.

Can I get to Buckhead hotels from the airport by MARTA?

Yes, with no change. The Gold Line runs from the Airport station to Lenox, and the Red Line runs from the airport to Buckhead station. A single trip is $2.50, with up to four free transfers in three hours. Weekday service runs 4:45 AM to 1 AM and weekend service 6 AM to 1 AM. The walk times on this page are timed to Lenox Square rather than to a station.

Which Buckhead hotel is closest to Lenox Square?

The Hyatt Centric, 5 minutes on foot to the south side of the mall by the parking deck. Hotel Colee and the Westin are 7 minutes, the Wyndham 8, the JW Marriott and the Waldorf Astoria 10, the InterContinental 12, the Hilton Garden Inn and the Courtyard 13, the Grand Hyatt 14 and Nobu 16. The Whitley is the farthest, at 18. Walks are timed by the street route.
