Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
The JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead is the one hotel in this area whose fee is already inside the price you see. Marriott's booking screen for November 17 reads "Includes 25 USD Destination Fee" beside its rates, and Atlanta's 16.9% tax and the state's $5 a night still come on top. On-site self-parking is $52 a day, or $10 an hour. Valet is $10 more, the same $62 the InterContinental and the Grand Hyatt charge, and the page gives no in-and-out terms for it. For a one-night stay, the fee and self-parking make $77, $2 under the Grand Hyatt's $79 and $12 more than the Hyatt Centric's $65, two hotels that bill their fee separately. There's no shuttle (Marriott's page says "This hotel does not provide shuttle service."), so Lenox Square means the 10-minute walk to its south side, by the parking deck. Pets aren't allowed. The three EV charging stations cost nothing to use.
