Eagles December 2026 Home Games: Hotels a Broad Street Line Ride From the Linc

The Eagles host the Colts on Sunday 13 December at 1 p.m., the Seahawks on Saturday 19 December at 5 p.m., and the Texans on Thursday 24 December, Christmas Eve, at 8:15 p.m. All three are at Lincoln Financial Field. That's the team's schedule as we read it on 29 October 2026.

Sleep Saturday for the Colts, and expect a late ride back on Christmas Eve

A 1 p.m. Sunday game makes Saturday 12 December your night in town, and you check out before you ride south. The stadium bars luggage, so the suitcase can't come to the game with you. Sort out where it goes before you leave the hotel. For Saturday's 5 p.m. game, sleep Friday and spend the day out, or sleep Saturday and come back to the same room. The Christmas Eve kickoff at 8:15 p.m. puts the ride back late at night. We couldn't read SEPTA's service hours, so check the last train before you book. For an 8:20 p.m. Eagles game in 2022, SEPTA said "Even if games run late, subway service will be available." No SEPTA page we read for 2026 repeats it.

The Colts game can still move

Of the three, only the Colts game can be moved into a night slot, because it's the one on a Sunday afternoon. It can go to Sunday, Monday or Thursday night, or from 1 p.m. to 4:05 or 4:25 p.m. Monday night, 14 December, would mean one more hotel night. Thursday night, 10 December, moves the whole trip three days earlier. The NFL generally decides a Thursday move at least 21 days ahead, around 19 November. A Monday move gets 12 days' notice, by about 2 December, and Sunday night is generally decided by 7 December, 6 days out. Start checking the kickoff in mid-November.

The NFL's page says nothing about Saturdays outside Week 18, so we're assuming 19 December stays put. The same page calls Thursday games in the flex window tentatively scheduled and subject to change, so 24 December is not locked either. If it moved, the rule puts it on Sunday afternoon, 27 December.

Ride the Broad Street Line south to NRG station

The stadium is in South Philadelphia, and we have no hotel there. We found no team hotel and no home-game package; the Eagles' fan-travel page covers away games only. SEPTA's Broad Street Line, which its fare page calls the B, runs south from Center City to NRG station, and a 2023 SEPTA release, updated in 2024, says NRG serves Lincoln Financial Field. No SEPTA page we read gives a ride time. Police-designated rideshare points are at 1500 Pattison Avenue and on Lawrence Street, north side of Pattison.

Thirteen Center City East and Rittenhouse Square hotels about 3 to 8 minutes from the Broad Street Line

Walks are routed on foot from each hotel to its nearest station on a normal day. Nine of the hotels are in Center City East and four in Rittenhouse Square. These are the hotels in those two areas, within about 8 minutes of a station, whose booking screens we could read. Each was read for a night in mid-November when we built the hotel's page. None was read for a game night. Eleven of the thirteen showed no hotel fee on the booking screen. Two charge one: The Notary Hotel, Philadelphia, Autograph Collection a destination fee, and Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia a guest amenity fee.

DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City is closest, about 3 minutes to Walnut-Locust. Self-parking is $48 a day, covered, with in and out allowed, a 6 ft 3 in height limit and no valet.

Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City-Convention Center is also about 3 minutes on foot, to Race-Vine. Hilton's pages have shown valet at $71, $45 or $39 and self-parking at $30 or none, so confirm with the hotel.

Parking at Aloft Philadelphia Downtown is valet only, and Marriott's page has shown both $65 and $71 a day. City Hall station is about 4 minutes away.

The Notary is about 5 minutes from City Hall. Its $30 Destination Fee is already in the rate Marriott lists. Valet is its only parking, $77.10 a day, with in and out for overnight parking only.

From W Philadelphia or The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia, City Hall station is about 5 minutes on foot. The W charges $75 a day for valet. The Ritz-Carlton parks cars off-site: valet at the Wanamaker Building, 0.1 miles away, is $70 a day, and other off-site parking is $45 a day.

At Residence Inn Philadelphia Center City, the walk to City Hall takes about 5 minutes, and Marriott's page puts car retrieval at 45 minutes. There's no self-parking, and valet is $57 a day with in-and-out privileges, based on availability.

Race-Vine is about 5 minutes from Four Points by Sheraton Philadelphia City Center. We couldn't confirm parking there, and the old Marriott listing we read said there was none.

Valet at The Westin Philadelphia is $70 a day, and no self-parking turned up. Its booking screen was read for 18 November, because 17 November had no rooms. Philadelphia Marriott Downtown sends cars off-site: valet is $72.58 a day, $85.44 for oversized vehicles, and an off-site lot is $59 a day or $20 an hour. Both are about 6 minutes from City Hall.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia - Convention Center, PA has no self-parking or valet. It's about 7 minutes from City Hall. The Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia is about 7 minutes from Walnut-Locust, with valet at $59 a day and self-parking in the secured garage at $50 a day.

The longest walk here is from the Palomar, about 8 minutes to City Hall. It adds a $28 Guest Amenity Fee on top of the room, $32.58 with tax. The fee includes a $20 daily food and beverage credit at the hotel. There's no self-parking, and the hotel's map page lists valet at $57 plus tax a night, possibly out of date.

Plan on SEPTA's $2.90 both ways, and bring one clear bag

SEPTA's undated fare page shows $2.90 a trip. A 2023 SEPTA release had riders pay the regular fare to the game, while a sponsor paid for rides back from NRG from halftime until two hours after the game, or until the last scheduled train left. We found no 2026 sponsor or extra service.

Inner gates open about 1.5 hours before an Eagles game, per the stadium's undated A-Z page: about 11:30 a.m. for the Colts if kickoff stays at 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m. for the Seahawks and 6:45 p.m. for the Texans.

One bag per fan: clear plastic, vinyl or PVC up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Backpacks, fanny packs, coolers, briefcases and purses larger than a clutch are out. Lockers sit by South Gate off 11th Street and between the Ford Gate and the Xfinity gate.
