Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
No hotel here is closer to the Pennsylvania Convention Center than the Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City-Convention Center: from 1301 Race Street the walk is 2 minutes. Reviewers mention the short walk to the Race-Vine and 13th Street stations too, and they like the staff. Nothing specific turned up against it in the search summaries we read. Check-out is 11 AM, and most Hilton pages give check-in as 3 PM, though one says 4 PM. With no hotel fee on any of the 11 rooms we priced for November 17, 2026, parking is the extra here, and Hilton's pages price it three ways. One version gives valet at $71 with in-and-out and no self-parking. Another gives self-parking at $30 in an uncovered lot a block away, with valet at $39, and a third gives valet at $45 with no self-parking. Two nights of parking would be anywhere from $60 to $142. Call the hotel before you drive. A Hilton offers page also mentions a Park & Stay rate, whose terms we did not read.
