Disneyland Hotels on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve 2026: All Nine We Checked Still Sold One Night

When we looked on November 3, you could still book a single night near Disneyland for Christmas Eve, Christmas night or New Year's Eve, and for the night before Thanksgiving. All nine hotels we checked in the Disneyland area would sell each of those nights on its own. That came to 36 searches, and not one hotel turned us away. It was one morning, though, and availability changes daily, so check again before you count on it.
Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are both Thursday nights this year, and Christmas night is a Friday. The night before Thanksgiving is Wednesday, November 25. All four fall inside Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, which Disney's seasonal events calendar lists as November 13 through January 6, 2027. Each search was for two adults in one room. We checked Disney's three hotels on Disney's own hotel list and the other six on their own booking screens.
Self-parking is $45 plus tax at all three Disney hotels
The Disneyland Hotel is near the monorail to Disneyland Park, and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has its own entrance into Disney California Adventure. Disney's hotel list had a room-only standard rate at both, and at Pixar Place Hotel, on all four nights.
On Christmas Eve, the Disneyland Hotel's own rates and rooms page priced most of its room types for two adults: Standard View, Deluxe View and Premium View rooms, both Club Level types, the junior and family suites, the 3 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite, the Mickey Mouse Suite and the Pirate Suite. Four came back unavailable "for the dates, party size or offer selected": Premium Downtown Disney View, the 2 Bedroom Family Suite, the Adventureland Suite and the Big Thunder Suite. The message doesn't say which of those is the reason. We only opened that page for Christmas Eve, so we can't tell you whether those four come back on the other nights.
Disney prices rooms as an average nightly rate before tax, and on October 19 its rate screen had no fee line at any of the three. Self-parking is $45 plus tax per night per vehicle at all three. Valet is $75 plus tax per night at the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian, and Pixar Place has none. Disney says Pixar Place's third-floor pool deck sees fireworks on select nights. We never found out which nights, so don't book December 31 on that promise.
Marriott's four: $50 to $68 a day to park
The JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the parks, less if you cut through its lobby and GardenWalk. From The Westin Anaheim Resort it's about 15 to 17 minutes, around by Katella and Harbor or through Downtown Disney, because there's no way into the parks from the Pixar Pier side across the street.
Parking at the Westin is $50 a day to self-park and $60 for valet. Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort charges $56.27 and $67.99, and the Anaheim Marriott $56 and $61. None of the four showed a destination fee on Marriott's booking screen on October 19. The JW has no self-park lot, so a car there costs you $68 a day in valet.
Hilton Anaheim's garage clears 6 feet 8 inches
Hilton Anaheim marked 18 of its 39 room and rate options sold out for November 25, more than on any of the other three nights. Christmas Eve had the fewest gone, 12 of 45. Christmas night was 15 of 42, and New Year's Eve 13 of 44. Those are options on Hilton's screen, not rooms in the hotel, and even the night before Thanksgiving still had 21 to choose from.
Measure before you drive in, because a tall van or a roof box may not fit under that garage ceiling. Self-parking is $49 a night and valet $59. On October 19, Hilton's booking screen showed no mandatory charge.
Hyatt Regency Orange County: the one $20 fee
Hyatt Regency Orange County is over the city line in Garden Grove, more than a mile from the Disneyland Resort, so plan on the shuttle. It leaves every 30 minutes and costs $7 per person per day, with children 3 and under free. A family of four with two school-age kids pays $28 a day to ride it.
On November 3 its booking screen showed a $20 a night destination fee, subject to change, on each of the four nights. It's the only one of the nine whose booking screen has shown us a fee. The hotel has self-parking and valet, with the first 20 minutes free, but Hyatt doesn't publish a nightly parking rate, so ask when you book.
Tickets and park reservations
Disney's rates and rooms page for the Disneyland Hotel says a theme park reservation is required in addition to a ticket, and that its prices don't include tickets. We didn't check whether reservations or tickets are still available for these nights, and we didn't look at park hours or fireworks schedules.
We only ever asked for one night at a time. If you need two or three nights across Christmas, run that search yourself before you plan around it.
