Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
The JW Marriott room in a March 2026 review was 390 square feet, and the tub was very long even for a reviewer who stands 5 foot 10. The rooms are the reason to book. Getting to the parks isn't. The hotel is at 1775 South Clementine Street on the edge of GardenWalk, and the walk to the gates runs 15 to 20 minutes, a few less if you cut through the lobby and GardenWalk. A number of hotels on Harbor Boulevard are closer. The pool is the weakest part of the place: it's small and in shade much of the day, with the deck turned away from the parks, and the same review found the water very cold and no hot tub. Parkestry, which Disney's listing calls the highest rooftop bar in Anaheim, was serving dinner Tuesday through Saturday at that review, and you can see the fireworks from it if you time it right. Parking is valet only, $68 a day, with no self-park lot to fall back on. With no destination fee on the booking screen (checked October 19, 2026), valet is the whole extra, and five nights with a car comes to $340. You have to be 18 to check in, and the hotel takes no pets. If your days run from rope drop to fireworks, you'll be paying for a room you barely see.

How much is parking at JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort?
$68 a day, and it's valet only. There's no self-parking option.
How far is the JW Marriott Anaheim from Disneyland?
A 15 to 20 minute walk. Going out through the lobby and across GardenWalk shaves off a few minutes, but a number of hotels on Harbor Boulevard are closer.

4 PM, and you need to be 18. Check-out is 11 AM.
Is the JW Marriott Anaheim worth it for a Disneyland trip?
For a trip with time at the hotel, yes, because the rooms are its strength. For full park days from open to close, probably not: the walk is longer than from Harbor Boulevard hotels, and the pool is small and often in shade.
