Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
This is the cheap room on Westwood Boulevard for people working a show at the Orange County Convention Center. The walk to the convention center's West Building is about 1.1 miles, around 23 minutes, and location is what guests praise. The rooms get far less credit. Cleanliness is the complaint that keeps coming back. Guests describe dirty rooms and repairs left undone, and some mention roaches. A cigarette smell comes up too. One listing has the front desk closing at 10 pm and asks anyone arriving later to call at least a day ahead, and a review describes nobody at the desk late at night. If you land late, call first. Watch the street number when you book, too. A separate Extended Stay America sits at 6443 Westwood, and it's the one with the outdoor pool. Nothing we found confirms a pool here. Pets are allowed on request, at $25 a night per pet on one listing, so a three-night stay with one dog comes to $75. Listings show free on-site parking, but we couldn't confirm that with the hotel, so ring 1-407-352-3454 before you count on a free space.

Open in Maps →You're at 6451 Westwood Boulevard, near the Orange County Convention Center. The walk to the convention center's West Building is about 1.1 miles, around 23 minutes, and one listing puts SeaWorld about 0.8 miles away. A different Extended Stay America sits on the same road at 6443 Westwood, which is easy to confuse with this one.

Does Extended Stay America Orlando Convention Center charge a resort fee?
No. ESA's booking screen added tax to the room and nothing else (checked Oct. 21, 2026). That was for a November 2026 night, because this hotel wasn't selling May 2027 yet.
Is parking free at Extended Stay America Orlando Convention Center?
Listings show free on-site parking, but we couldn't confirm it with the hotel. Call 1-407-352-3454 and ask what you'll pay before you arrive.
Can you walk to the Orange County Convention Center from this hotel?
Yes, though it's a real walk: about 1.1 miles and 23 minutes to the West Building, by OpenStreetMap's walking route. There's no bridge.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 3 pm and check-out is 11 am.
Is this the same hotel as the Extended Stay America at 6443 Westwood Blvd?
No. That one is a separate property with its own listings, and it's the one with the outdoor pool. Make sure your booking says 6451 Westwood Blvd.
Is Extended Stay America Orlando Convention Center worth it?
If you need a cheap bed near a show and you'll be out all day, it can be. Cleanliness and upkeep are the complaints guests raise most, and one review describes an empty front desk late at night, so if the state of the room matters to you, spend more.
