Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Parking is free here, and near the convention center that is the reason to book. The hotel sits at 6435 Westwood Boulevard, and Marriott says on-site self-parking costs guests nothing. Marriott sells it as a hotel near the Orange County Convention Center without giving a distance. On foot it's about 1.1 miles to the West Building, around 23 minutes, with no bridge, so leaving the car in the lot all week means a real walk each way. Front desk staff get friendly words from most guests, though not all of them. The building shows its age. Guests describe tired hallways, and one reported an elevator that had been broken for a long time. Breakfast at Westwood Bar & Grille is extra and there's no room service. For a park week it makes less sense, since Marriott says the hotel runs no shuttle service, to the parks or the airport. Marriott's booking screen showed no resort or destination fee for a May 2027 stay (checked Oct. 21, 2026). With free parking, a car adds nothing to the cost of the stay.

Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center FAQ

Does Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center charge a resort fee?

No. Marriott's booking screen showed no resort or destination fee for 21 to 23 May 2027 (checked Oct. 21, 2026). Tax still applies, and the fee line on the screen is the last word before you pay.

Is parking free at Four Points Orlando Convention Center?

Yes. Marriott says on-site self-parking is free for guests. There's no EV charging on site.

Can you walk to the Orange County Convention Center from here?

Yes, but it's about 1.1 miles and 23 minutes on foot to the West Building, by OpenStreetMap's walking route. There's no bridge, and Marriott doesn't publish a distance.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 3 pm and check-out is noon. You have to be 21 to check in.

Is this the Four Points on International Drive?

No. That's a separate hotel, Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive, which charges $15 a day for parking and has a 4 pm check-in.

Is Four Points Orlando Convention Center worth it for a last-minute stay?

For a convention with a car, yes. Free parking about a mile from the halls is the whole case for it. For a theme-park week, probably not. Marriott says the hotel runs no shuttle, and guests describe a building that shows its age, which isn't much to come back to after a day out.
