The daily amenity fee here is one of the rare ones that hands something back, and whether the Lennox is worth booking comes down to whether you will use it. Reviews land in the same spot over and over: the location draws near-universal praise, staff get called warm and helpful, and the Mediterranean courtyard pool and Juan Ciavarella's upcycled interiors carry the place. Guests rate the location far above the value they feel they get, and that gap is the whole review picture. The repeated complaints are noise and size. Sound passes through walls and connecting-room doors, the block runs music late, and guests call the rooms small even by South Beach Art Deco standards. Housekeeping misses and disputed folio charges come up often enough to check your bill before you leave. Now the math the nightly rate hides. The amenity fee is $45 plus tax, $51.30 all in per night, and it covers two beach chairs and an umbrella, a beach bag with towels, the 6 to 7 pm wine and cheese hour, a golf cart within a mile, and the shuttle to the sand. Valet is the only parking at $49 plus tax, $59 for oversized vehicles. Three nights with a car runs past $300 in extras before the room. Use the loungers and the wine hour daily and the fee earns out. Book two nights for a Convention Center run and never touch a chair, and $51.30 a night buys you WiFi and a bathrobe.

The Collins Park end of South Beach, at 19th and Collins. The sand is one block east, the Bass and Collins Park are at the corner, the Convention Center sits a few blocks west and Lincoln Road is a short walk south. It is calmer here than the Ocean Drive core, though guests still report music running late on the block.

Does the Lennox Miami Beach charge a resort fee?

Yes. The hotel calls it a daily amenity fee: $45 plus taxes, or $51.30 all in per room per night. Over three nights that is $153.90 on top of the room. Unlike most Miami Beach fees, this one buys things you can actually use: two beach chairs and an umbrella, a beach bag with towels, the 6 to 7 pm wine and cheese reception, a golf cart within a mile of the hotel, WiFi, the 24-hour gym, robes and in-room Nespresso. The hotel does not say whether the fee is charged per room or per person, though its wording reads as per room per night.

Is there free or self parking at the Lennox Miami Beach?

No. Valet is the only option, at $49 a night plus tax for standard sedans and coupes and $59 plus tax for larger or oversized vehicles. The hotel publishes no self-parking alternative anywhere. Valet runs 24 hours on a first-come, first-served basis, the garage clears 6'8" and cannot take low-profile vehicles, and any damage has to be reported before the car leaves the property. Day rates are separate: $25 plus tax for hotel visitors, $16 plus tax for Amalia diners, settled at the front desk.

How far is the Lennox from the beach?

One block east. You can walk it in a couple of minutes, and the amenity fee includes a private beach area with two lounge chairs, an umbrella and a beach bag with towels in the room on arrival. The hotel also runs a shuttle to the sand and a golf cart that will take you anywhere within a mile, which covers Collins Park, the Bass and most of the walk to Lincoln Road.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Complimentary late checkout is offered based on availability, and once those slots are gone the front desk may sell one at its discretion. The hotel does not publish that price and does not guarantee the option, so do not build a late flight around it.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, one small dog per room, up to 25 lbs, for a $150 deep cleaning fee plus taxes charged as an incidental. Registered service animals are exempt. The hotel describes the fee as applied to your stay, which reads as one time rather than nightly, but it does not say so outright, so confirm at booking if you are staying several nights.

Is it worth booking last minute?

Yes, if you are actually going to use the beach kit and the wine hour, and you sleep through noise. The location and the staff are what guests praise most consistently, and the courtyard pool is the reason people come back. The repeat complaints are worth taking seriously: sound travels through the walls and connecting-room doors, the block runs music late, and the rooms are small. Budget for the deposit too, since the hotel holds $100 a night up to $500 at check-in.
