Delano reopened on May 1, 2026, after six years closed for a ground-up renovation, under a different operator than the one that ran it before. The guest feedback floating around describes the hotel that shut in March 2020. What little has been written about the new listing is brief. That isn't enough to tell you what a stay actually feels like, and we're not going to build a verdict on a property that no longer exists. Our full write-up is in progress and will go up once there's enough post-reopening feedback to say something useful. What we can confirm now came straight from the hotel: valet is the only parking discussed, at $65 overnight for guests, check-in is 3 PM, checkout is noon, and no resort fee appears anywhere on its site. Treat the $45 resort fee and $42 valet still showing on some booking sites as leftovers from the old era, and confirm your total before you book.

It sits at 1685 Collins Avenue in South Beach, on the beach side of the street with direct access to the sand. Lincoln Road is a walk west and Ocean Drive is a walk south, so you can leave the car with the valet and not touch it again.

The hotel doesn't publish one. There's no resort, destination, or amenity fee listed on its homepage, FAQ page, or terms and policies page. That isn't the same as a guarantee, since we didn't push a test booking through, so watch the total at checkout. Some third-party listings still show a $45 resort fee, but that figure dates from before the 2020 closure.

How much is parking at Delano Miami Beach?

$65 for overnight valet if you're staying there. Valet is the only option the hotel describes; self-parking isn't mentioned anywhere on its site. If you're visiting rather than staying, valet runs $30 for up to three hours. Budget the $65 a night into your comparison, because it won't show up in the nightly rate you searched on.

How far is the beach?

You're on it. The hotel sits at 1685 Collins Avenue on the sand, so beach access is a walk out the back rather than a street crossing. Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive are both walkable from the front door.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is noon. That's a nine-hour gap, which matters if you land on a morning flight; ask about bag storage rather than assuming an early room.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, up to 50 pounds. Cats and dogs are both welcome under that 25 kg limit. The hotel notes that additional charges apply for non-certified service animals but doesn't publish the pet fee amount, so ask when you book.

Is it worth booking last minute right now?
