No hotel in this area is closer to Capital One Arena: the Kimpton Hotel Monaco is 2 minutes away on foot, 170 meters by the routed walk. Check-in is at 3 PM for guests 18 and older, and checkout is at noon. Pets are welcome. IHG's screen lists a Guest Amenities Fee of $37 that "will be added per room each night of your stay", then taxes the fee as well, $5.90 more, without saying what the $37 buys. Only the Westin's $40 is larger on any screen here. Over three nights the fee and its tax come to $128.70. Valet is the only parking, offered seven days a week with some restrictions, at $65 plus tax and more for oversized vehicles. A driver pays $107.90 a night in fee and parking before the room's 15.95% tax and the valet's. IHG's screen showed no rooms for 17 or 18 November, so we read it for 8 December, when it had rooms.
