Built in 1787, the Morris House Hotel is a townhouse at 225 South 8th Street with a formal garden, and two of its suites have balconies over it. Some rooms are small. Continental breakfast is free and afternoon tea with cookies starts at 3 PM. Independence Hall is 8 minutes away on foot. Pets are not allowed. An adult over 21 has to check in, between 3 PM and 10 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. Its booking screen for 17 November added 15.5% tax and no fee line. Parking is Walnut Towers Garage across the street, where the hotel validates your ticket for 15% off if you bring it to the front desk at check-in, though it does not print the garage's rate. Per the hotel's own site, a third guest in a room is $25 a person a day and an air mattress is $25 a night, so a third guest for two nights adds $50.
