Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Every room here is a suite, and that is most of the argument for it. Marriott says the suites are about 25% bigger than a standard room and keep the bed apart from the living space, which gives a family or two coworkers more elbow room than most rooms on this part of town. Each one has a microwave and a mini fridge, and breakfast is free. Guests like the location best, close to the convention center and Pointe Orlando. Close is not next door. Marriott puts the convention center less than a mile away, and there's no skybridge or covered walkway, so you're walking outside along busy roads or driving over. Marriott lists self-parking at $20 a day. Its booking screen showed no destination or resort fee for a May 2027 stay, so a car is the one extra, about $20 a night. The building is older and it looks it. Some guests found room odors or cleaning that had been skipped, and the free breakfast is thin on choice. If your suite smells off when you open the door, ask to move before you unpack. You have to be 21 to check in, and pets aren't allowed, though service animals are welcome.

$20 a day for on-site self-parking, according to Marriott, which also lists $12 an hour and $100 a week. Marriott doesn't say whether tax is on top, and it describes self-parking only, so confirm the rate at check-in.
