The Renaissance is the resort directly across Sea Harbor Drive from SeaWorld's gate, and its signature is that ten-story atrium: a glass-roofed lobby with a cascading waterfall you pass under on the way to your room. It's a big house, 781 rooms and 64 suites wrapped around 186,000 square feet of meeting space, so it runs as a convention hotel first and a family resort second. The pool deck earns its keep with kids, though: an outdoor pool, two hot tubs, and R Aqua Zone, a compact water park with slides, jets, and a splash pad. Add a full-service spa, five restaurants, a couple of bars, and a market for park snacks. As an official SeaWorld hotel you get a free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove, and the resort fee also covers scheduled shuttles toward Disney and Universal. Here's the catch, and it's the standard Orlando one: a resort fee around $54 a night plus tax and self-parking near $50 a day (valet runs about $74), so pencil in roughly $100 in add-ons before anything else. Convention weeks pack the atrium bars and pool chairs, and the Orange County Convention Center is 1.2 miles away, so lanyards come with the territory. It suits families doing SeaWorld and Aquatica who want a full resort within walking distance, and anyone whose conference lands here anyway.

The SeaWorld cluster off International Drive South: SeaWorld and Aquatica sit directly across the street, with Discovery Cove and the Orange County Convention Center about 1.2 miles away. The I-Drive shops, Pointe Orlando, and the ICON Park wheel are a short drive north, and Universal and Disney are both roughly a 15-to-20-minute drive.
