Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Every room here is a suite with a separate living area, and breakfast is cooked to order and free. That is most of the case for it. A family of four gets a door between the kids and the parents, and nobody pays for eggs. Hilton adds a complimentary evening reception on top. The hotel is at 8978 International Drive, about a mile from the Orange County Convention Center by Hilton's count. There's no skybridge, so it's an outdoor walk down I-Drive or a short ride. The building sits right beside I-4, and rooms on that side hear it. Ask for one facing away from the interstate. Housekeeping is the complaint that keeps coming back, with rooms not cleaned properly and service that slips. The 244 suites were renovated top to bottom in 2016 and 2017. Self-parking is $23 a day with in-and-out, and there's no valet. Five nights with a car adds $115, and Hilton doesn't say whether tax comes on top. Bring the dog and that's another $75 for a stay of up to four nights. Hilton's booking screen showed no resort or destination charge for a May 2027 weekend (checked Oct. 21, 2026). ICON Park has its own Embassy Suites. Check the address.
