Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Las Palmeras is a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare, and the reason to stay is space. Suites run up to two bedrooms and some of those have a full kitchen. Every floor has a laundry room. On a week in Orlando with kids, that's a lot of breakfasts you don't buy. The pool has a two-story circular waterslide and a splash pad. There's an arcade for the hour after. Hilton puts the resort across Universal Boulevard from the Orange County Convention Center, so a parent with a badge can walk to the North/South Building while everyone else swims. A show in the West Building means a longer walk or a ride. There's no spa. Check-out is 10 am on most of Hilton's pages, which is early when you're packing up a kitchen. On Expedia, plenty of owner-rented condos use the same name, so make sure you're booking the one Hilton runs. Hilton's booking screen puts a $25 a night resort charge inside the displayed rate, with taxes extra. Self-parking is $32 a night plus tax and valet is $40 plus tax, which puts five nights with the car at $160 before tax, or $200 with valet, and the resort charge comes on top of either.

Does Las Palmeras charge a resort fee?
Yes, $25 a night. Hilton's booking screen shows it as a resort charge already included in the displayed rate, with taxes and government charges extra (checked Oct. 21, 2026 for a May 2027 stay). It covers guest internet, 30 minutes a day of domestic long-distance calls, the InnSpire app and media streaming, and two Starbucks coffees or two 16 oz bottles of water a day.
How much is parking at Las Palmeras?
$32 a day plus tax to self-park, or $40 a day plus tax for valet, according to Hilton. Self-parking is on site with covered and secured spaces, and in-and-out is allowed. Some third-party sites still show $22, which looks out of date.
Can you walk to the Orange County Convention Center from Las Palmeras?
Yes. Hilton places the resort across Universal Boulevard from the convention center, and the North/South Building is the close side. The West Building on International Drive is a longer walk or a ride. Hilton lists no skybridge or shuttle.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 4 pm and check-out is 10 am on most of Hilton's pages. One Hilton listing says 3 pm and noon, so call the resort at 407-233-2200 if the time matters to your plans.
Do the suites at Las Palmeras have kitchens?
Some do. Some two-bedroom suites have a fully equipped kitchen, and every floor has a laundry room. Studios and one-bedroom suites are offered too, so check what the room type includes before you book.
Is Las Palmeras a timeshare?
Yes, it's a Hilton Grand Vacations resort with condo-style suites. On Expedia, many owner-rented condos are listed under the same name, so make sure you're booking the Hilton-operated listing and not a private rental.
