Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Evermore exists for Evermore Bay, an 8-acre Crystal Lagoons swimmable lagoon ringed by 20 acres of white sand. It's the largest lagoon of its kind in the Orlando area, filtered crystal-clear and flat, so you get an ocean-style beach day minus the surf and the salt. The beach runs private cabanas, games, a DJ, and beachside food and drink. In the water there are jumping platforms, and a four-person slide sits at the pool right next door. The kayaks and paddleboards are complimentary. A resort pool deck sits alongside, and you can walk to an 18-hole golf course and a full-service spa shared with the on-site Conrad. Price the stack before you book: this is luxury-tier positioning with a one-time All-In-One Fee, food and beverage runs expensive, and most restaurants want a reservation. It's also not a normal hotel-room stay. Much of the inventory is multi-bedroom vacation flats and villas built for groups, and the standard tower rooms are actually the neighboring Conrad Orlando. The property is big and spread out, and while Disney is close, you're not on Disney transportation, so plan on a car. It suits families and multigenerational groups planning to spend the day in the water, plus groups splitting a shared flat or villa.

Southwest Orlando off SR-535 (Winter Garden Vineland Rd), just west of Walt Disney World and about 10-15 minutes from Disney Springs. You're close to the parks but set on a big, self-contained campus, so a car makes the stay work.

Evermore Orlando Resort FAQ

Can you actually swim in Evermore Bay?

Yes. Evermore Bay is an 8-acre Crystal Lagoons swimmable lagoon with filtered, crystal-clear water, the largest of its kind in the Orlando area. There are jumping platforms in the bay, and a four-person waterslide at the Family Waterslide Pool right next to it, plus complimentary kayaks and paddleboards, all ringed by a 20-acre white-sand beach.

Is Evermore on Disney transportation?

No. You're just west of Walt Disney World, roughly 10-15 minutes from Disney Springs, but Evermore isn't on Disney's buses, monorail, or boats. The property is large and spread out, so plan on having a car.

Are the rooms hotel rooms or vacation rentals?

Mostly vacation rentals. Much of Evermore's inventory is multi-bedroom flats and villas built for groups. If you want a standard hotel tower room, that's the adjacent Conrad Orlando, which shares the golf course and spa.

Does Evermore Orlando charge a resort fee?

Yes, but not the way most hotels do it. Evermore charges a one-time All-In-One Fee for the whole stay rather than a nightly resort fee; it covers cleaning, damages and use of the amenities, and it is due with your final payment. Confirm the current amount when you book. Budget past it too, because food and drink here run expensive and most restaurants want a reservation.
