Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Soho Beach House is a private members' club that also rents 50 bedrooms, and nearly every recurring review, good and bad, traces back to that. The praise is consistent: the beachfront setting, the antique furnishings the operator describes as vintage Cuban in feel, Cecconi's on the ground floor, and a pool and beach setup reviewers rave about. The complaints repeat just as reliably. Service runs slow, especially poolside. Weekend reviews describe members filling the loungers, so a room does not guarantee a spot, while midweek guests describe something close to a private beach club. Entry-level Cosy rooms start at 350 sq ft, tight for what the address costs. Then the money the headline rate hides. Soho House publishes no resort, facility or amenity fee for this House, and its booking conditions itemize plenty of other charges (cancellation, deposit, smoking, damage), so the nightly add-on most of Miami Beach charges looks absent here. Treat that as unpublished rather than confirmed at zero. Parking is where it comes back: valet only, $22 for members, $42 for non-members by day, $62 overnight, so three nights with a car is $186 before any tax. Non-members also can't just book. The operator's bedrooms page says a Soho Friends subscription gets added to complete the reservation. It suits design-minded adults who will use the club from breakfast to late. Anyone under 21 needs a Child membership to be in the House at all.

Open in Maps →Beachfront Mid-Beach, the calmer run of Collins Avenue north of the South Beach club strip. The beach and pool deck are the property's center of gravity rather than a walk away, the ocean-facing room categories (Big Ocean, Big Ocean Plus, Extra Large Ocean) look straight out at the sand, and Cecconi's Miami Beach sits on the ground floor with its own valet, which is worth knowing if friends are driving in to meet you for dinner.

Does Soho Beach House Miami charge a resort fee?
None is published. Soho House lists no resort, facility, amenity or destination fee for this House anywhere on its site, and the Room Booking Conditions page that itemizes cancellation, deposit, smoking, damage and spa charges doesn't mention one either. Bedrooms here run through a members' club rather than a standard hotel folio, so read that as unpublished rather than guaranteed at zero, and check your confirmation.
How much is parking at Soho Beach House Miami?
$62 for overnight valet. Daytime valet is $42 for non-members and $22 for members. Valet is the only option priced on the property's Important Information page, there's no self-park rate published, and it doesn't say whether tax is included. Cecconi's Miami Beach on the ground floor runs its own guest valet at $32 if you're just coming to eat.
Can non-members book a room at Soho Beach House?
Yes, but you end up joining. The operator's bedrooms page says members and Soho Friends book at reduced rates and that for everyone else, "we'll add a Soho Friends subscription to complete your booking." Factor that into a same-day plan, because the booking flow asks you to sign in or subscribe before it will show you a room.
What are check-in and check-out times?
3pm in, noon out. Those are the House-wide times in Soho House's Room Booking Conditions, and Soho Beach House isn't named among the exceptions (only Babington House and Soho Farmhouse are called out separately). No Miami-specific time is published.
Can I bring kids or a dog?
Kids need a membership and dogs can't come at all. Anyone under 21 must hold a Child membership to be in the House, and that access is restricted by day and by area of the property. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted; only ADA-certified service animals are, and they can't be put on furniture or left unattended.
Is Soho Beach House worth booking for a last-minute Miami Beach night?
Only if you'll use the club all day. The pattern in reviews is clear: guests who spend the day on the beach and pool deck and eat downstairs come away delighted, guests who wanted a conventional luxury hotel with quick service come away annoyed. Midweek stays read very differently from weekends, when members fill the loungers and the pool deck gets loud. If space or a view matters, the Cosy category starts at 350 sq ft, so go up to a Big Ocean or larger.
