The Stockyards' own lots charge $12.50 a day Monday to Wednesday, $17.50 on Thursday and $22.50 Friday to Sunday, before sales tax and a service fee, and event-day prices are posted at the lot. The district valet at 122 East Exchange runs $20 Monday to Thursday and $25 on weekends, tax and fee included. Hotel rooms are harder to pin down by day of the week. No rate or occupancy table by day of the week turned up for Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo runs outside the district, at Will Rogers Memorial Center and Dickies Arena in the Cultural District. We turned up no occupancy figure for Stockyards hotels while it runs, so how far it reaches up here is unknown. Its organizer counts more than 1.2 million visitors a year, and a 2017 study estimated about 30,686 hotel room nights from the show. The 2026 show ran January 16 to February 7. Third-party listings have the 2027 run at January 15 to February 6, though the organizer hadn't published dates when we looked. In Engine's business-travel booking data for the metro, May 2024 to April 2026, December, the month just before the show, comes out cheapest and June the most expensive. An undated CBRE source quoted by Bisnow, speaking for the metro, calls November and December slow.
Fort Worth's city room tax was 9% on top of the state's 6%. Voters approved another 2% in May 2024 for convention center expansion. A summary of the city's FY2025 report lists an 11% local rate, which with the state's 6% would make 17%, though we couldn't confirm the date the increase took effect. Hotels with 100 or more rooms also carry a 2% tourism assessment that is set to end September 30, 2027. Hotel Drover, the Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and Hyatt Place showed no destination or resort fee on their booking screens for November 11, 2026. Hotel Drover's valet is $57.38 a day, against $32.50 for 24 hours in the district lot plus tax and a service fee. Without a car, TEXRail from DFW Terminal B reaches Fort Worth T&P Station in 53 minutes for $2, and Trinity Metro's Orange Line runs north from Fort Worth Central Station to the Stockyards. The Stockyards Hotel at 109 East Exchange isn't an option yet: its own site reads 'Returning 2027'.
December, on metro-wide data only. Engine's business-travel booking data for Dallas-Fort Worth, May 2024 to April 2026, puts it cheapest and June most expensive, and a CBRE source quoted by Bisnow calls November and December slow across the metro. We found no published hotel curve for Fort Worth itself.
Not on the four screens we read. Hotel Drover, the Courtyard and SpringHill Suites showed no fee line for the night of November 11, 2026, and Hyatt Place listed rooms with no destination fee or resort fee paragraph, all read on October 27. We have not read a booking screen for Hotel Texas or Miss Molly's, so a fee at either is not confirmed. Miss Molly's terms state a $35 per room charge for unreturned keys, and that 20% of the reservation total may be charged to cancel certain reservations.
The district's lots charge $12.50 Monday to Wednesday, $17.50 on Thursday and $22.50 Friday to Sunday, or $32.50 for 24 hours, all plus sales tax and a service fee. District valet at 122 East Exchange is $20 Monday to Thursday and $25 Friday to Sunday, tax and fee included. At the hotels, Hyatt Place self-parking starts at $20 a night, SpringHill Suites charges $20 a day to self-park and $25 for valet, the Courtyard is $25 a day for either, and Hotel Drover's valet is $57.38 a day. Miss Molly's has no designated parking. Special events are posted at the lot.
Not once you're here: five of the six hotels are 3 to 7 minutes' walk from Cowtown Coliseum. Hotel Drover's FAQ puts DFW 27 miles away and Love Field 35. TEXRail from DFW Terminal B to Fort Worth T&P Station takes 53 minutes and costs $2 one way or $4 for the day, and Trinity Metro's Orange Line runs north from Fort Worth Central Station to the stop at North Main Street and Exchange Avenue.
We can't say. No rate or occupancy figure for these hotels during the show turned up in our research. It runs at Will Rogers Memorial Center and Dickies Arena in the Cultural District, not in the Stockyards. Third-party listings put the 2027 dates at January 15 to February 6, and the organizer's own dates were not yet published. The organizer says it draws more than 1.2 million visitors a year.
Not as of October 27, 2026. Its own site reads 'Returning 2027'. Some booking sites still list it, so a listing there is stale. This page covers six other hotels in the district.
