Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

New is the first thing guests notice about SpringHill Suites. The rooms read as clean and recently built, and the beds are comfortable. The front desk is friendly and easy to deal with. People mention a rooftop bar and second-floor balconies, and breakfast has hot and cold choices, though the food can run out. The location gets the most repeats: it is 6 minutes on foot, 471 meters, from 2315 North Main Street to Cowtown Coliseum, with the Stockyards restaurants and Billy Bob's Texas within a walk. One review summary says the rooms are small and that you'll hear the street on weekend nights, and an older review from December 2020 said the room could have been cleaner. The booking screen for November 11, 2026 carried no fee line. Guests do report paying for parking. Self-parking is $20 a day or $10 an hour on Marriott's page and valet is $25 a day, which puts three nights of parking it yourself at $60. One guest's pre-paid king room wasn't available, and another was charged twice for parking a single car.
