Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Billy Bob's Texas is close to this Marriott Courtyard at 2537 North Main Street, and so is the Stockyards historic area. Cowtown Coliseum is 7 minutes on foot, 515 meters, the longest routed walk of the five hotels here that have one, and still short enough that the car can stay parked once you arrive. Leaving it with valet costs the same as parking it yourself, $25 a day on Marriott's page, tax not stated. That is $75 for three nights. Marriott's booking screen for November 11, 2026 carried no fee line. What guests object to is the bill: they thought the hotel charged more than it delivered. Some also had trouble with valet or with room amenities, and a few hit reservation mix-ups. Staff come across as helpful and the rooms as clean. Breakfast is described as limited and pricey, so plan to eat out.
