Reviews of the Westin Oaks turn up fewer noise complaints than the other Westin's, and the hotel is 3 minutes on foot from the Galleria, at the corner of Westheimer Road and Post Oak Boulevard. It carries the $25 Destination Fee that the JW and the Westin Galleria do, already in the rate. Valet is $56 a day, $81 a night once the fee is counted, before any tax. Park the car yourself and it's free, so the fee is all you add. Over three nights that's $75 with your own parking and $243 with valet. If you're driving, the free garage is the obvious move. Pets are allowed. Check-in is 3 PM. Check-out is noon here and 11 at the JW. Several reviews call the rooms clean. They also raise extra charges on top of the room rate, and valet problems, and traffic around the mall gets mentioned too. One summary we read flagged the elevators.
