Weddings at Hotel ZaZa Dallas Uptown share the building with the Dragonfly restaurant and a poolside bar, and guests report banquet-room and wedding bass reaching rooms, including second-floor balconies facing the pool. Value draws the most complaints, with fees layered on the rate. The group policy page, which covers all four ZaZa hotels, says "A Nightly Amenity Fee is applied to each room night" and "A State Recovery Fee will be applied to all reservations on a per night basis in addition to the room rate per night." It prints neither amount and adds, "Fees vary per property and are subject to change." The Dallas FAQ mentions neither fee. The hotel's own booking screen prices both: the Amenity Fee is $35 a night and the State Recovery Fee $2.50 a night, each its own line in the price breakdown next to the state and city taxes. The screen also adds a credit card processing fee, $25 on the two-night stay we priced. The group page calls Hotel ZaZa "a valet parking only facility", and the Dallas FAQ says valet is charged per vehicle, varying with the length of stay. Neither page gives a price. The minimum age is 21, and check-in runs from 4 p.m. to midnight. Cats and dogs of any size are welcome for a one-time, non-refundable $100 deposit per pet, and the Magic Carpet Ride shuttle runs to places within three miles, by the group page's account.
