SpringHill Suites Dallas Downtown/West End and Hyatt House Dallas/Uptown are the two hotels in this area whose booking screens showed no fee line, out of seven we read. Here that was Marriott's screen for November 11, 2026, read with taxes switched off, so tax comes on top. A three-night stay here skips the $90 to $120 in destination fees that the other Marriott hotels in this area carry, before any parking. The pitch is a suite and a free breakfast at a mid-tier price in the West End, 1,067 meters from the American Airlines Center on the routed walk, or 14 minutes on foot, near the Dallas World Aquarium and the convention center. Guests call the staff friendly and the suite-style rooms spacious. Some rooms smell musty or of mildew, and the front desk can be hard to reach. The only parking is off-site valet, $44 a day on Marriott's page with nothing said about tax, so three nights cost $132. Guests say you pay for it through an app, and some dislike that.
