Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
The Rooms at Fitler Club are fourteen hotel rooms inside a private club at 24 South 24th Street, in Center City. The club's own pages call it Fitler Club Hotel; The Rooms at Fitler Club is the name Visit Philadelphia uses. The stay page gives guests access to the club's amenities, saying 'select' in one place and 'full access' in another, including an indoor lap pool and a cold plunge. The booking screen's reservation summary for 17 November added Philadelphia's 15.5% room tax and no fee. Before a room is selected, the screen shows only a stay total and a note that some taxes may not be included. Per the hotel's own site, overnight valet is $60+ a night, settled at checkout, which makes three nights $180 or more, and late check-out to 1 PM is $50 plus tax. The stay page lists no self-parking. Leaving after 3 PM is charged as an extra night plus tax, per the hotel's own site. Service animals are permitted under the ADA; the stay page says nothing about other pets. Cancel with less than 48 hours' notice before the 3 PM check-in and it costs one night plus tax, per the hotel's own site.
