Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Parking is on site at $40 a day per Marriott's FAQ, and it is the only self-park option listed among these five hotels. Three nights come to $120. Marriott's FAQ doesn't say whether parking tax is in that price, so you could pay more. The Sheraton stands at 3549 Chestnut Street, 16 minutes on foot from 30th Street Station, and we found no shuttle. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is noon. Marriott's overview page puts the minimum check-in age at 21, which rules out a Penn or Drexel student under 21 as the name at the front desk. The rate list for November 17, 2026 showed no destination fee, and its prices were before tax, so room tax comes on top of the rate you see. One pet up to 80 pounds can stay for a $50 non-refundable fee per stay, and Marriott's page says service animals are welcome without a fee.
