Nobu Miami Beach is a hotel inside another hotel. It has its own tower and lobby, but it sits within the much larger Eden Roc, and you share the pools, the beach, the gym and (by several guest accounts) breakfast with Eden Roc's whole guest list. The Nobu name buys a nicer room, a separate check-in, and priority reservations at the Nobu restaurant. The pools and sand still run at Eden Roc volume, and that gap is what blindsides first-timers. The rooms hold up their end: reviewers call them spacious and sleek, and the oceanfront balconies are the reason to book here. The elevators are the loudest recurring complaint, with guests describing one or two cars running at a time and real crowding on checkout mornings. Pool and beach service swings from fine to absent at peak times, and the adult-only pool is sometimes closed. Then the money. The hotel lists what its resort fee covers but publishes no dollar figure anywhere, and guests peg it near $56 a night. Overnight parking is $60 plus tax, $70 for an oversized vehicle, with no self-park option mentioned on the site. Guests cite roughly $65 for two piña coladas. Book it for the balcony and the beach, and budget for the stack on top. Anyone picturing a small, quiet Nobu will be disappointed by the crowds.

Dogs aren't allowed in any restaurant or bar, the pool areas, or Esencia Spa, and housekeeping won't service your room if the dog is left in it alone.
