This was the Hampton Inn Miami Beach until late 2024, and the Tapestry conversion changed the arithmetic more than it changed the building. What guests write about now is the front desk. Reviews from 2025 and 2026 name staff by first name so relentlessly that service reads as the property's actual product: bags held, gel packs frozen, a lost wallet returned, texts checking in mid-stay. The rest of the recurring pattern is smaller and steadier. Rooms are clean and cramped, and two queens feel tight. The pool is little. A single working elevator shows up in reviews in January and again in August 2026, and the stairs open into the restaurant kitchen. Then the money. Parking is valet only at $50, with no self-park option at all, in a covered garage around the corner that moves cars by elevator, and guests report a ten-minute wait to hand the car over and worse getting it back. Hilton's fee page lists no resort or destination fee, yet the hotel's own listing describes a mandatory daily destination charge and never states the amount, so ask for it itemized before you book. It only pays for itself if you spend the $15 daily food credit at Piola downstairs and actually haul the loaner beach chairs across Collins. Turn up without a car, use the free trolley outside the door, and the numbers work.

Neither source publishes the amount, so ask for the charge itemized before you commit.

How much is parking?

$50 for valet, and valet is the only option. Hilton lists self-parking as not available and publishes no separate day rate. The garage is covered and secured with in and out privileges, and EV charging isn't offered. The operator doesn't say whether the $50 is per night or per day, or whether tax sits on top, so confirm at check-in. Guests describe the garage as around the corner from the lobby, tight, and worked by a car elevator, with waits at both ends.

How far is the beach?

Across Collins Avenue. Guests describe it as steps away or a block, and the boardwalk runs behind the sand. The hotel lends beach chairs, towels, sunblock and a cooler, though you carry them over yourself, which is the one thing about the setup guests grumble about.
