Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

The Swan Reserve is what you book when the answer to "what matters most" is the room itself. It's the newest building on the campus by decades, a 349-room Autograph Collection tower from late 2021, and it's the most adult: calm, design-forward, essentially zero Disney theming. It carries the full deluxe-tier perk set, 30-minute early entry, Extended Evening Hours on select nights, the 7-day Lightning Lane window, with buses stopping at its own front entrance. The catch is geography within the campus: it sits across Epcot Resorts Blvd from the main Swan and Dolphin, so the boat dock, the beach, the big grotto pool, and most of the twenty-plus restaurants are a five-to-ten-minute walk away, and its own pool is a small elevated deck with a fire pit rather than a destination. The fee math matches its siblings, a $50-plus-tax resort fee and $40-plus-tax self-parking, and its rates run the highest of the three, often at true deluxe levels. It suits couples and adults who want the newest beds nearest Epcot and will happily trade a pool scene for quiet. Families chasing waterslides and boat rides should book the Swan or Dolphin and keep the walk out of their mornings.

Walt Disney World Swan Reserve FAQ

Is the Swan Reserve part of the Swan and Dolphin campus?

Yes, with full access to the shared pools, restaurants, boats, and Disney perks. It's a separate tower across the street, which buys quiet at the cost of a five-to-ten-minute walk to most of the campus amenities.

Is the Swan Reserve good for kids?

It works, but it isn't built for them: the on-site pool is small, theming is nil, and the fun stuff is across the street. Families usually do better at the Swan or Dolphin; the Reserve is the grown-ups' tower.

Why is the Swan Reserve more expensive than the Swan?

Newest rooms on the campus and the smallest building, priced at or near Disney deluxe levels. You're paying for 2021 construction and calm; the perks are the same as its cheaper siblings.
