Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Drury is the math-changer on the Disney Springs row, and the ratings agree: it's the best-reviewed hotel anywhere near the parks. Opened in December 2022 as a 602-room new build on Disney-owned land, it imports Drury's family-run playbook intact: free hot breakfast, the free 5:30 Kickback with hot food and cold beverages, free popcorn and soda in the afternoons, and no resort fee. For a family, that's two meals a day handled before the room rate does anything. It's an official Walt Disney World hotel with the 30-minute early-entry perk; like its whole row, no Extended Evening Hours. The full picture: parking is the one real fee at $28 a night for self-parking with no free alternative, park shuttles run hourly with the Magic Kingdom route ending at the Transportation and Ticket Center, breakfast and Kickback lines get long at peak with modest pours, housekeeping is on-request rather than daily, and the Disney Springs "walk" is a genuine half-mile-plus each way. Two-room suites sleep six, which quietly solves the connecting-room problem. It suits value-minded families and anyone who'd rather spend the fee stack on park tickets. Book early; the combination of 4.7 and free food does not sit unclaimed.

Is Drury really fee-free?
There's no resort fee, and breakfast, evening Kickback food and drinks, afternoon snacks, and Wi-Fi are all included. The one unavoidable extra is parking at $28 a night, self-parking only, with no free option on site.
What's the catch at Drury?
Scale and simplicity: the free meals draw real lines at peak times, housekeeping is on-request rather than daily, the shuttle is hourly with the Magic Kingdom stop at the TTC, and the Disney Springs walk is a legitimate half mile plus. None of it dents the value; all of it is worth knowing.
Does Drury work for a family of five or six?
Yes, better than most: the two-room suites sleep up to six with real separation, and the included breakfast and evening food meaningfully cut the trip's food budget. They're the first rooms to sell out.
Does Drury Orlando have free breakfast?
Yes, free hot breakfast every morning, plus the 5:30 Kickback with hot food and cold beverages and free popcorn and soda in the afternoons. For a family that's two meals a day handled before the room rate does anything. Lines get long at peak times and the pours are modest, but none of it is charged.
Does Drury Plaza Orlando get Disney early entry?
Yes, it's an official Walt Disney World hotel with the 30-minute early-entry perk. Like the rest of the Disney Springs row, it doesn't get Extended Evening Hours. Its own park shuttles run hourly, and the Magic Kingdom route ends at the Transportation and Ticket Center, so add a monorail or ferry transfer on that one.
How far is Drury Plaza from Disney Springs?
Half a mile to three-quarters of a mile, on a continuous sidewalk. That's a genuine walk rather than a stroll across the street: fine after breakfast, less fun late at night with tired kids. The hotel sits at the Hotel Plaza Boulevard entrance side of Disney Springs.
