Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Blue Man Group is back on International Drive, this time in a purpose-built theater at ICON Park that seats 578. The trio ran at Universal CityWalk from 2007 to 2021, went dark, and reopened here on May 1, 2026. The show itself keeps the same DNA: 90 to 105 minutes with no intermission, built on percussion, PVC-pipe drumming, comedy, multimedia, and a lot of pulling the audience into the bit. It's indoor and air-conditioned, which is why it earns its keep on a July afternoon when the heat index climbs or a thunderstorm parks over I-Drive. Now the catches, and there are a few. Despite the "dinner-show" label, no food is included, so plan a meal on your own; ICON Park and the surrounding strip have plenty. The theater is brand new, so operations and review history are still thin. Front-row "poncho zone" seats can get splattered with paint and water, which is either the highlight or the reason you sit back a few rows. One more: the listing traces to the old CityWalk show, so confirm the current ICON Park date and showtime at checkout. It suits families, first-timers, and groups who want indoor evening entertainment on I-Drive that doesn't hinge on the weather.

Blue Man Group Orlando FAQ

Is Blue Man Group a dinner show?

No. Despite the label, no food is included. Eat before or after at ICON Park or elsewhere on I-Drive.

Where is Blue Man Group in Orlando now?

At ICON Park on International Drive (8375 I-Drive). It moved here in May 2026 after its long run at Universal CityWalk.

Will I get splashed during the show?

Only in the front "poncho zone" rows, where paint and water can reach. Sit back a few rows and you'll stay clean.

How long is the Blue Man Group show in Orlando?

About an hour and 45 minutes, straight through with no intermission. It plays in a purpose-built theater at ICON Park that seats 578, so plan on being in your seat for the whole run.

Is Blue Man Group Orlando good for kids?

Families are the core audience, along with first-timers and groups. It runs on percussion, PVC-pipe drumming, comedy and multimedia, and it pulls the audience into the bit constantly, so it is loud and hands-on rather than a sit-still theater night. Weigh the hour-and-45-minute runtime with no intermission if you are bringing a young child.
