Sandbourne is the Ocean Avenue hotel that wants your dog. It takes up to two pets per room as long as they weigh 100 pounds together. There's a dog park on the property, and a bed and a treat are waiting when you arrive. The pet fee is $150 for the stay, not per night. The pool is heated and has cabanas and a bar beside it. It closes at sunset. In October 2026 the hotel's FAQ page still carried a banner saying pool service was closed until April 30. It reads like a leftover from spring, but call before you plan a pool day around it. The car costs more than the fee does. Valet is the only parking the hotel lists, at $76 plus tax a night, and the $30 destination fee goes on every night too, also plus tax. That's $106 a night before tax on top of the room, or $318 for a three-night weekend. Electric cars charge free, Teslas included, though only through the valet. If you're driving in anyway, price the Park & Breakfast package, which includes valet, against the plain room rate. The hotel's FAQ doesn't say whether the first price you see already has the $30 folded in, so check the total on the booking screen. Arrive without a car and you're down to the fee and its tax.
